Before your appointment with ARC Veterinary Physiotherapy

All animals treated by ARC Veterinary Physiotherapy must be registered with a Veterinary practice. All services are carried out in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 (section 19) and the Veterinary Surgery (Exemptions) Order 2015. This states that treatment provided by a Veterinary Physiotherapist must be done so under referral from a veterinary surgeon. However, general maintenance treatment with the owner's permission of a healthy animal may be done so without a referral. Consent from your vet means that we have all of the necessary information to be able to provide safe and effective treatment.
